About

You may be wondering what this blog is about? Well, I recently started fly fishing and, living in SoCal, I found my choices for fishing creeks and streams quite limited. It was also hard to find information about local places to fish, outside of the normal lakes and ocean waters.  So I yearned for fly fishing friendly waters, similar to those I visited in the Eastern Sierras.

What I have done on urbanflyy.com is compiled a list of fly fishable creeks, streams, and lakes that have fish of any kind!

I hope you find the information useful.

This site is great. I have the same struggle…wishing to be up in the Sierras while being stuck in LA. Hopefully we can meet up on the San Gabriel sometime
